United Way goal in sight
"We're expecting to exceed our $1 million goal," says Bob Allen, coordinator for the University's United Way campaign. So far, more than $860,000 has been pledged since the campaign kicked off in February.
"We expect to set another record this year with leadership giving--pledges of more than $1,000. That is very encouraging," adds Allen. "As the campaign slogan states, 'What Matters is You!' Every pledge makes a difference."
