THANK YOU, MR. PRESIDENT--Gratitude and praise (not to mention good humor) were in ample supply during a Board of Trustees dinner honoring President Jackson on May 12. "In recognition of a lasting legacy," the board conferred upon him the title of president emeritus when he steps down June 30. The trustees also have endowed a Distinguished University Professorship in his honor. (see related story) |
