Simon offers new management degree
"Increasingly, clinicians find themselves in positions of management responsibility and seek training to address the challenges they face," says R. Lawrence Van Horn, Simon School associate professor of economics and management and area coordinator for health sciences management. "The newly created, one-year master's degree program is tailored to deliver immediate benefits to individuals within the time constraints of busy health care professionals." An information reception about the program will be held May 26 at the Medical Center from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Anderson Room. Lunch will be served, and reservations are required. To reserve a seat, call x5-3736 or e-mail marketing@simon.rochester.edu. Prospective students wishing to apply to the program are required to meet Simon School admissions criteria. For more details, contact Pamela Black-Colton, assistant dean for M.B.A. admissions and administration, at x5-3533 or admissions@simon.rochester.edu.
