SEE, SCIENCE CAN BE FUN—About 150 middle school students from the Rochester City School District toured science and engineering facilities on the River Campus and at the Medical Center and Laser Lab on July 15. During sessions taught by Lisa Norwood, assistant dean of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, and Cobi Waxman '05, the students pictured above dissected computers and learned more about musical signals. Other sessions included tabletop catapults, neuroimaging, and the properties of light. Maintained by University Public Relations |
