The Benefits Office Employee Wellness Program and the School of Nursing's Community Nursing Center will hold its final flu clinics for faculty and staff November 17 to 18. As many of you are aware, flu vaccine supply/demand issues exist nationwide due to delays in vaccine shipments, and we are moving forward with the limited supply we have at this time.
In keeping with the Centers for Disease Control guidelines, all employees are eligible to receive a vaccination. You must bring your employee ID and insurance card. Aetna, Blue Choice plans, Preferred Care, and Medicare plans are accepted, however, you must bring your insurance card for verification and to avoid any fees. Dates and locations are listed below.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we move forward to distribute
vaccine to our faculty and staff. Already we have been able to vaccinate 2,800 patient care providers and high-risk faculty and staff. If you have questions, contact Eva_Bellis@URMC.rochester.edu or call x3-2573.
