Women's Volleyball: Coming off back-to-back seasons of 24 and 25 wins, the team looks poised for continued success during the 2005-06 athletic season. The Yellowjackets have a strong front-line presence led by Haley Massa '06, Kate Czarniak '05, and Susan Johnson '06 (see photo at right).

Field Hockey: The Yellowjackets have plenty of skill at both ends of the field heading into 2005. Six of the top seven scorers are back, including Kristy Johnson '07, Krista Butler '07, and Mary DiMatteo '07.

Football: One of the most productive offenses in recent years returns to the field. Aaron Molisani '06 is back for his third year at quarterback, throwing for 1,814 yards and 16 TDs and running for 520 yards and eight scores last season. Also returning is Patrick O'Brien '07, who ran for 664 yards and four TDs, and Matt Bielecki '08, who ran for 627 yards and six scores. Two of the defensive leaders will be Michael Dermody '06, ranked nationally among defensive backs a year ago after intercepting four passes and breaking up 11 others, and Matt Simon '06, who is among the national tackle leaders.

Men's Soccer: Record-setting scorer Nate Micklos '06 spearheads a talented offense. He broke the single-season and career goalscoring records last year with 20 goals and seven assists for 47 points. Gary Stom '06 offers scoring support.

Women's Soccer: Yellowjackets have made 22 consecutive post-season appearances and are on target to do it again. Rochester's always tough defense held opponents to a goal or less 16 times in 20 games. That defense is back, spearheaded by goalkeepers Adrianne Hulchanski '06 and Molly Leitch '08.

Men's and Women's Cross Country: The teams will have home-field advantage of sorts when Rochester hosts the NCAA Atlantic Region championships at Genesee Valley Park on November 10. The top teams qualify for the National Championships a week later.
