NetID clicks with library resources
embers of the University community can now use their NetIDs to access licensed River Campus Libraries materials from an off-campus location. In the past, a Virtual Private Network (VPN) client was required to use library databases, electronic journals, and e-reserve materials. With a NetID username and password, faculty, staff, or students can now access those resources from any computer with an Internet connection. For details about NetIDs, see www.rochester.edu/its/netid.
(Off-campus access to streamed reserves and client databases, such as SciFinder Scholar and Beilstein CrossFire, still require a VPN client. Learn more about VPN at www.rochester.edu/its/vpn.)
