KEEPING KIDS HEALTHY--President Seligman paid a visit to the Healthy Home, a hands-on, interactive museum in a residential home in southwest Rochester that shows visitors how to avoid lead hazards, asthma triggers, indoor air quality threats, and toxic chemicals in their homes. The Healthy Home is a partnership of the University's Environmental Health Sciences Center and two community groups. Seligman was given a guided tour by several student interns, including second-year medical students Danielle Ruppert and Erinn White and Urban Fellow Anand Popouri as well as Scott Blue and Isiah Johnson from SWAN (Southwest Area Neighborhood)--not to mention a young Emery Joseph Edwin Coleman (left) and one obliging green frog. Visitors may arrange tours by calling Kate Kuholski at x5-3354.
