Medical Center campus goes smoke free

n Thursday, November 16, in conjunction with the Great American Smokeout, the Medical Center campus and select off-site locations will become smoke-free institutions—inside and out. In doing so, the Medical Center joins several hospitals in the region, including Highland Hospital, in its effort to create a healthier environment for faculty, staff, and patients.

Brochures with the new perimeter will be available at the Medical Center. In addition, information on the program, including details on smoking cessation programs available free to faculty and staff, can be found on the Medical Center intranet or at www.stronghealth.com.
