PRESIDENTIAL PORTRAIT
President Seligman applauds the presentation of
President Emeritus Thomas H. Jackson’s official portrait in the Grand
Staircase of Rush Rhees Library, as Jackson and his wife Bonnie look on
during the January 23 unveiling. The portrait, said Seligman,
“captures the special attributes that Tom brought to his
presidency—an analytical mind, a deep admiration for history, the
slight twinkle of his sense of humor.”
