University launches Weekly Buzz
Submission are welcome for the new e-newsletter for undergraduates called Weekly Buzz. All undergraduates in the College and at the Eastman School received their first issue on Sunday, Sept. 2. Published by the University Communications Office, Weekly Buzz includes news, announcements, reminders, event highlights, sports schedules, and more. Submissions are due by noon every Friday. Send them to weeklybuzz@rochester.edu or use the submission form online at www.rochester.edu/weeklybuzz/submit.   
Gallery has a new number
The Memorial Art Gallery has a new number: 276-8900. The gallery also has a new online department and staff directory, listing new extensions for gallery staff. Callers may also press option 5 from the main number to dial by last name.  
Well-U September challenge
Employees who join America on the Move—a free fitness and online tracking program—during September have a chance to win prizes, including an Apple iPod Shuffle or a $500 gift card. ‘Always Better’ fall classes
Registration is open for Always Better, a collection of noncredit courses, seminars, and workshops, primarily in the liberal arts, offered for adults. Starbucks grand opening
The new Starbucks in Wilson Commons is officially open. Regular hours are 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 12:30 a.m., Saturday and Sunday. The interior with luminescent tiles and earthy colors—and wireless internet access—replaces the Hive on the third level of Wilson Commons. A grand opening is planned for September 10.
