Earlier this fall the University bid goodbye to cute, cuddly URBee and welcomed a new wrathful wasp as Rochester’s mascot. Now, it’s time to give the yellowjacket a name.

Suggestions can be submitted online through December 14. A committee of faculty, staff, and students will narrow the submissions down to five top choices. Another online contest will be held in January to pick the new name.
