Freshman Move-in: August 28
Freshman orientation takes place from August 28 to September 3. Freshmen should plan to move in on Tuesday, August 28. Specific move-in instructions, hang tags for parking, and other important materials will be mailed to freshmen in early August. Check-in, including distribution of room keys, will take place at the Park Lot location only. To prevent gridlock, all automobile access to the freshman halls will be controlled from the Park Lot check-in area. Due to construction, it is critical that families and students follow move-in instructions carefully.
Please note that students will be assigned a move-in time based on the distance from their home to the University campus. Students who live roughly three to four hours from the University may arrive between 8:30 a.m. and noon. Those traveling from a greater distance will be permitted to check-in from noon until 4 p.m. Check-in will remain open until 4 p.m. For those students who arrive after the official check-in hours due to unforeseen circumstances, an on-call staff member will be available to check students in. Families arriving by air will receive information on airport pick-up service from the Orientation office.
When you receive your move-in instructions, your parking pass will be color coded to indicate the appropriate move-in time as well as your living area.
Transfer Student Move-in: August 30
