Renew parking permit, find a carpool online
Online registration for parking permits for the year
July 1, 2008, through June 30, 2009, begins May 5 at www.rochester.edu/
parking. In addition to easily renewing permits, the Web site handles
ticket payments, appeals, and updates to account information. To access the
site, a NET ID and password is required. Those who renew their permit
online by May 31 will automatically be entered into a Medical Center
parking sweepstakes with prizes ranging from one year’s free parking
in the garage to a reserved space in an assigned lot. All parking permits
must be renewed by June 30.
The Web site also includes a link to the
University’s carpooling bulletin board. The bulletin board provides a
convenient way to find others with similar hours and commutes who are
interested in carpooling. Carpoolers also enjoy reduced parking fees, from
50 percent off to free parking depending on the number of faculty and staff
involved.
