Social psychologist Claude Steele, dean of the School of Education at Stanford University, gives the keynote address at the University’s third annual diversity conference last month. Steele discussed his theory of stereotype threat as outlined in his book, Whistling Vivaldi: How Stereotypes Affect Us and What We Can Do.
