International Women’s Day Field Trip
Field trip with SBAI to historic sites in Seneca Falls, NY as a celebration of International Women's Day (IWD). Each year in celebration of IWD, thousands of events are held throughout the world to celebrate the achievements of women and to inspire others. We will be holding our field trip on March 6, 2015. Details on registration will be posted here when they are available.

Examines the lives of seven uniquely stylish New Yorkers between 62 and 95 years old whose style challenges conventional ideas about beauty, aging, and Western Culture's obsession with youth. (Documentary)

Documents the evolution of Jewish feminism while simultaneously telling the story of Ester Broner, the writer who explored the double marginalization of bing Jewish and female.  (Documentary)

Born out of wedlock in the beginning of the 20th centure, Violete Leduc falls for another woman, Simone de Beauvoir, in post-World-War-II Saint-Germain-des-Pres.  An intense relationship follows based on a quest for freedom through writing. (Narrative)

S.M.A.R.T (SA Motivation Action, Retention, and Tenacity)
This one-day leadership training for women, trans*, and gender queer students on campus in order to encourage them to run for elected positions on campus.This training will be held in hopes of encouraging women leaders to run for elected positions on campus. The day will include a keynote, presentations, a panel, free breakfast and lunch, and a free networking reception with alumni and campus leaders. This training is not exclusive to women or this university. Please feel free to nominate anyone who you believe would benefit.

Being part of a perfect Persian family isn't easy for Shirin.  Her family doesn't know she is bisexual and her ex-girlfriend Maxine doesn't understand her secrecy.  Shirin embarks on a private rebellion of pansexual escapades while trying to decipher what went wrong with Maxine. (Narrative)
