The expo highlights University sponsored summer, semester, and academic year study abroad opportunities for University students. Study abroad programs will be represented by staff, faculty, and study abroad student returnees. Many student services will be represented including the staff of the College Center for Academic Support and the Financial Aid Office.
The fair features a passport drive that is open to the public. Representatives from the Rochester City Clerk's Office will be present to process passport applications, and a photographer will be available to take standard passport photos. Information regarding the fees and requirements for a passport application can be found here. The fee for photographs will be $15 cash or check. Individuals are encouraged to come with a completed DS-11 passport application. Please note that the City Clerk's Office cannot process passport renewals, only new applications. Renewals must be done by mail. Individuals with an existing passport who are planning to renew by mail must apply for a new one in person if their most recent U.S. Passport: (1) Is damaged or mutilated; (2) Was issued when they were younger than 16; (3) Was issued more than 15 years ago; or (4) Was not issued in their current name or they cannot legally document their name change.
The expo is cosponsored by Center for Study Abroad. For more information, visit http://www.rochester.edu/college/abroad.
