Library visitors will have an opportunity to borrow and engage in conversation with a human "book," an individual from the community. Designed to promote tolerance, celebrate differences, and encourage understanding of people who come from a variety of backgrounds, the program invites readers to check out human books for 30 minutes or participate in one-on-one or small group conversations to learn about another's life experience or special interests.
