The On Film is a presentation of films from around the world that are rarely-seen. The films are in 16mm or 35mm prints and the purpose of the event is to encourage discussion about the materiality as well as the contents of the films.

The screening is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided. Sponsored by the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures; the Susan B. Anthony Institute for Gender and Women's Studies; the Department of Art & Art History; the Program in Visual and Cultural Studies; the Department of Film and Media Studies; the Department of Anthropology; the Department of History; the Graduate Organizing Group; and the Multimedia Center at Rush Rhees Library.
