The new seminar series features a screening of the documentary Gen Silent, which tells the store of six LGBT seniors exploring how they deal with, and often conceal, their sexual orientation, gender identity, spouses, and friends in order to survive in the health care system.
Presented by John Cullen, coordinator of LGBT outreach, SBACWL research associate professor of surgery, and Craig Sellers, program director of masters programs and associate professor of clinical nursing at the School of Nursing.

Recognize and articulate challenges faced by aging LGBT individuals in the health care system.
List ways that health care professionals can reduce the challenges faced by aging LGBT individuals in the health care system.
