Cultivating Respect in Community

In-service training workshop sponsored by the College

Stanley Byrd, human resources manager for multicultural affairs and inclusion, and Kathy Sweetland, University intercessor, will work with invited student support staff in considering ways of cultivating greater respect in the student community. Working from the College's curricular vision, a set of "Communal Principles" serve as operating guidelines for the College community. In keeping with the spirit of Martin Luther King, this workshop will focus on one of those principles, "Respect." It will be a planned in-service staff activity scheduled for MLK Day on January 16 from 9:00 a.m.—noon.
