About:
Speed-networking is just what it sounds like – quick, focused opportunities to meet those who can propel your career. We all desire to accelerate our careers and get on the fast track to success. Speed Networking is designed to maximize quality, lasting, professional connections in a short period of time. We will start with each of our featured networkers giving us a 2 minute background on their career path. We will then breakout into the Networking session, where attendees will have the opportunity to move around the room speaking with the leadership networkers and one another. It is the hope that these connections will lead to follow-up meetings, lunches and referrals down the road. You can meet more quality contacts and actually have meaningful conversations in just one event than any other method!

Helpful Tips:
1.) Bring your business cards
2.) Prepare your 'elevator speech' lasting a little over a minute to tell each partner about yourself or your business.
3.) Be yourself.

The goal of the event is to facilitate dialogues between people across the University and enable young leaders to discuss their career aspirations with people, like you, who can provide them with feedback on how best to attain their goals.
