Women’s Leadership Network
The University of Rochester is a member of the American Council on Education Women’s Network. The ACE Women’s Network is a national system of networks within each state, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia with the goal of advancing and supporting women in higher education. This group is open to all faculty and administrative staff who identify as women or non-binary. Each state network is led by a state chair who works with institutional representatives to develop programs that:
Identify,
Develop,
Encourage,
Advance,
Link,
and Support Women
in higher education careers.
The New York State Network is divided up regionally, and the University of Rochester is in the “Finger Lakes Region” along with Cornell University, Finger Lakes Community College, Hartwick College, Ithaca College, Keuka College, Monroe Community College, Nazareth College, New York Chiropractic College, Onondaga Community College, Rochester Institute of Technology, St. John Fisher College, SUNY Brockport, SUNY Cortland, SUNY Geneseo, and SUNY Polytechnic Institute.
ACE Women’s Network events encourage participants to engage with their peers, to share their experiences, and to dream about their futures.
