Parent Relations, in collaboration with offices across the University, helps parents understand and support the student experience, learning, and growth. This office assists in orienting families to the University of Rochester and serves as a resource for parents throughout their student's undergraduate career.

Campus Times is the University of Rochester's weekly student newspaper and has been serving the community since 1873. The online Campus Times is updated Thursdays following publication.

University Counseling Center

The transition to college often marks a new chapter in students’ lives and in their relationships with their parents. The University Counseling Center can advise families on what to expect and address any concerns they may have, such as homesickness and maintaining communication.
