Research Opportunities in the UK

Two programs in the United Kingdom provide funding for visiting scholars at UK institutions.

The Newtown International Fellowship and the Leverhulme Trust Visiting Professorships programs both offer U.S. scholars funding for visiting scholars at UK institutions. Each program requires a letter of invitation from a British university. The following British universities are fellow members of the Worldwide Universities Network (WUN). Each WUN has a WUN Coordinator who can facilitate contact with the relevant academic discipline at their university and/or assist with the application process of either program.
