Rochester Indian Association

"Your home away from home"
We are an association of Indian graduate students at the University of Rochester.

Our Beginnings

RIA was formed in the Spring, 2007. Since then, it has served as a platform for conducting social events geared towards students of Indian origin at the University of Rochester.

Our Events

RIA takes pride in hosting multiple events around the year such as Republic Day, Holi, Independence Day, Diwali and many more.

For our newbies

RIA has hosted freshers/incoming students on a temporary basis and provided airport pick ups to them over the years to help towards a smooth transition in Rochester.

We look forward to helping you make a smooth transition to Rochester and hope to make your stay a memorable one through our different events.
