Looking for Graduate Student Representatives to Discuss a Smoke/Tobacco-Free Campus

We are looking for graduate student representatives (1-3) to serve on a committee regarding a proposal for a tobacco-free campus. Several undergraduate groups are organizing to put together a survey/analyze results, engage other student groups on campus, and write a proposal to the University administration with the overall intention of making campus smoke/tobacco-free, though in the short-term (next 2-3 years) making mandatory smoking areas on campus. The committee plans to meet about every 2 weeks (in the evening) and the position would entail largely providing a graduate-student perspective in a group comprised of undergraduate students (and further assisting with the project as you desire). Great resume builder!

If you have any interest in serving on the committee please email GSA Student Advocacy Officer at: stephanie.daifuku@ur.rochester.edu  — feel free to pass this announcement to any graduate students you may know who would be interested.
