What To Do
Go to a Safe Place
Call someone . . .No matter how late it is, you should not be alone. Call a friend, Residential Life Staff, or the Sexual Assault Hotline.
Do not wash, douche, or change clothes . . .This could be difficult, but if you wash, you could destroy evidence that may be needed if you decide to report the crime to the police.
Talk with someone from the Dean of Students Office, x5-4085, contact the Intercessor for Sexual Harassment at x5-9125, or call the
Victim's Assistance Coordinator at x5-3108. Any of these people can discuss the situation and the options available to you.
You have the right to be free from any pressure from campus personnel to:
Report crimes you don't want to report
Report crimes as lesser offenses than you perceive them to be
Identify yourself publicly
