  • JVC G20 video projector (SXGA)
  • This projector is controlled by the touchpanel control system. Please refer to the Hoyt Auditorium instructions.

  • Mitsubishi X70 and X120 video projector (XGA)

The X70 and X120 differ only in their external appearance, and the X70 is 1100 lumens and the X120 is 1000 lumens.

These projectors have a "hard" and "soft" power button. As the projectors are permanently installed in rooms, the "hard" power button, located near the power plug, will always be on. The "soft" power button is located on the top side (which is actually facing the floor when installed on a ceiling), and is duplicated on the remote. You will need to press "power" twice when you want the turn off the projector; this prevents accidental shut-downs. Zoom and focus are controlled manually by adjusting the levers on the lens assembly, and are preadjusted to make the best use of the screen in the room. NOTE: you can not adjust zoom or focus by using the remote control.

While the projector does have audio capabilities, they are not used in the room installations. Adjusting the volume or pressing the mute button on the remote will have no effect on the sound in the room.

To switch between the possible sources choose the 'RGB' (computer) or 'Video' (VCR, DVD, etc) buttons on the remote.

PLEASE DO NOT TURN THE PROJECTOR ON AND OFF REPEATEDLY. THIS WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE BULB.

  • Panasonic PT-L797 (XGA native) 2700 lumens, handles VGA through SXGA resolutions
  • This projector is controlled differently depending on which room it is located in; please see the room-specific instructions on how to operate the projector.

This projector has a "hard" and "soft" power button. As this projector is permanently installed in the classroom, the hard power button (located near the power plug) will always be on. This model has two bulbs, both of which should always be in use. If you notice that the image is significantly dimmer than normal, then one of the bulbs has either failed or has been turned off; PLEASE CONTACT Classroom Technology IF THIS IS THE CASE.

Zoom and focus are controlled manually by adjusting the lens assembly. As this projector is permanently installed in the room, both zoom and focus have been preset to make best use of the screen in this room. NOTE: you can not adjust zoom or focus by using the remote control. PLEASE DO NOT TURN THE PROJECTOR ON AND OFF REPEATEDLY. THIS WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE BULBS.

  • Proxima A10 (XGA)
  • This projector has a "soft" power button only, which is located on the top of the unit, and is duplicated on the remote. As the projector is installed permanently, the 'top' of the projector actually faces the floor. You will need to press "off" twice when you want the turn off the projector; this prevents accidental shut-downs. Zoom and focus are controlled manually by adjusting the levers on the lens assembly. As this projector is installed permanently in the classroom, zoom and focus are preset to take best advantage of the screen in the room. NOTE: you can not adjust zoom or focus by using the remote control. To switch between the computer and video sources , press the "input" button on the remote to toggle between the three choices. PLEASE DO NOT TURN THE PROJECTOR ON AND OFF REPEATEDLY. THIS WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE BULBS.

  • Sharp Notevision PG-C30XU (XGA)

This projector has "soft" on/off buttons only, which are located on the top of the unit. You will need to press "off" twice when you want the turn off the projector; this prevents accidental shut-downs. The projector has an adjustable foot on the lower front edge to adjust height and angle. Zoom and focus are controlled manually by adjusting the levers on the lens assembly. NOTE: you can not adjust zoom or focus by using the remote control. To switch between the possible sources ('computer 1', 'computer 2', and 'input 3', for video sources), press the "input" button on either the top of the projector or the remote to toggle between the three choices. If the use of audio with this projector is desired, use the supplied audio cable to connect the projector to either the laptop or video device. There are volume and mute controls on the remote and the top of the projector. AS WITH ALL VIDEO PROJECTORS, YOU MUST ALLOW THE COOLING FAN TO STOP AUTOMATICALLY BEFORE YOU UNPLUG THE PROJECTOR.
