Procedure used to View the CD'S on a PC using IE 6.0 SP1
1. Download and Install DVL (Digital Video Library) 1.2 - 19,413KB (19.4MB) - may require an ACS Domain userid/password.
Note:  Icon should appear on the Desktop after your Install.
Also during the install - when asked for the Drive Letter
to use with the DVL software - specify the drive letter where you will be placing the Learning CD'S to be viewed.
Contact DCS OPS Support  if unable to download this file - they will be able to EMAIL/Mail the file to you.
2. Place your Learning CD into the drive letter chosen. If your browser starts up then exit that browser window.
3. Double click on the DVL Desktop ICON - this will drive a HTML page to your Browser - you must be using IE.
If IE (Internet Explorer) does not start - then copy and then paste the URL into IE or make IE your default browser.
(Explorer - Tools - Folder Options - File Types - choose HTML - CHANGE - choose Internet Explorer)
4. Select the Circulation Type color, which matches your CD jackets color - then select your specific Learning CD Number.

NOTE: Choose any color if your unsure since all colors/courses are made available to choose from.
Procedure used to View the CD'S on a PC using Netscape 4.75 - two windows needed
1. Download and Install Netscape 4.75 - 19,534KB (19.3MB).
Note: If your currently using a higher version of Netscape - both versions can be installed at the same time.
2. Place your Learning CD into your desired CD reader. Choose "Stand-Alone Only" mode. If your Netscape 4.75 browser does not start - but another browser does then copy the URL - file up Netscape 4.75 and paste the URL into Netscape 4.75.
3. Select the desired Unit and Launch the desired Video Presentation. However, the video may not work. You must use explorer - select your learning CD - select the desired Unit Folder you have selected - select folder Contents - select folder Media - select the *.ASF file - this will drive an application on your PC that will play the Video file. Thus, you must view the video on one window and follow along in Netscape 4.75 with the course material. Adjust the two windows so both can be see on the desktop for ease of viewing.
