What We Do
The IT Center Student Help Desk handles requests for services for undergraduate students of Arts, Sciences and Engineering. We do so in person, or via telephone or email, in an expedient manner. We provide assistance with wireless configuration, Resident Network configuration, Internet connections, access to UR academic applications and software, and virus protection and removal. We also make recommendations on hardware repairs based on our observations. Walk-in support for students is available in the IT Center, located in Rush Rhees Library.
Hours of Operation
Our hours for Summer 2012 (May 21st - Aug 29th) are as follows:
SUNDAY: Open Noon - 6PM
MONDAY-THURSDAY: 8AM - 10PM
FRIDAY: 8AM - 6PM
SATURDAY: Open Noon - 6PM
Our hours for the Fall 2012 (Aug 30th - Dec 12th) semester are as follows:
SUNDAY: Open Noon to Midnight
MONDAY-THURSDAY: Open 24 Hours
FRIDAY: Open Midnight to 9PM
SATURDAY: Open 10AM to 9PM
The IT Center will be closed on University holidays.
