Google Terms of Service
Google′s Gmail service is provided to undergraduates, as well as Eastman graduate students, by University IT. Therefore, all organizational policies set forth by University IT apply to this service. In addition, Google has its own strict privacy policy that must be understood and abided by in order to use the service.
University IT also notes that private information, such as email addresses, phone numbers, or personal documents should be shared with great care. Student Email provides a secure email environment, but it does not safeguard carelessly maintained personal information. Use your best discretion in sharing such information.
