After successfully authenticating on the network registration web site, you are prompted to install a Policy Key software agent as seen below:
After reading the full policy, select "Yes, I will install the Macintosh software agent (Policy Key) and accept the terms and conditions for Internet use."
Validate that the screen above indicates that the source is "netreg.net.rochester.edu" and select "OK." If it does not indicate "netreg.net.rochester.edu," contact University IT at 585-275-2000 for assistance.
Click “Continue” to continue the Policy Key installation.
If your Mac has one disk as in the image above, click it and then select "Continue." If you have multiple hard drives, click on the system hard drive and then click "Continue."
If you would like to change the folder where the Policy Key is installed, click “Change Install Location;” otherwise, click “Install” (recommended).
Enter an administrator account username and password for your computer and click “OK.”
You have successfully installed the Safe•Connect Policy Key software agent and may now proceed with your browser or any network enabled applications. Thank you for helping to protect the University of Rochester network.
