This month’s featured speaker is Sandhya Dwarkadas from the Department of Computer Science. Her talk will focus on efforts to improve the scalability, efficiency, and ease of use of emerging, increasingly concurrent, multicore- and accelerator-based hardware. The on-going research talk will be given by post-doctoral fellow James Seckler from the Department of Biostatistics. He will present recent results from computational studies of HIV-1 reverse transcriptase.  As always, pizza and soda will be served during the symposium.
