According to several sources, a data deluge increasingly marks science and engineering. The proliferation of often complex data provides challenges to the worlds of discovery and of education. These challenges are garnering greater attention from the National Science Foundation (and other parts of the federal government) in the context of “Big Data.” Please join us on Wednesday, November 28th at 10:30 a.m., when Dr. Cora B. Marrett, Deputy Director of NSF, will present “Research and Education in a Data Intensive Era.”
