University faculty are invited to the annual Sharing of Innovations in Teaching Luncheon, “Using Technology in the Student-Centered Classroom,” from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 18, in the Hawkins-Carlson Room, Rush Rhees Library. The discussion will explore how technology can improve the classroom experience for both faculty and students. University faculty will share how they have successfully employed new approaches (e.g., flipped classrooms and online bridging courses) and tools (e.g., iPads, Twitter, and YouTube). Sign up online. The event is cosponsored by the Eastman School, the Office for Faculty Development at the Medical Center, the School of Nursing, the Simon School, the UCIS Leadership in Education, and the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning at the College.
