The Center for Integrated Research Computing (CIRC) will host its next symposium on Friday, December 20 in URMC 2-6408 (K-207 Auditorium). This month’s featured speaker is Jean-Philippe Couderc from the Department of Medicine. He will describe details of developing a high-resolution 3D heart model. The on-going research talk will feature results from density functional theory (DFT) calculations of metal complexes as presented by Sarina Bellows from the Department of Chemistry.

He will describe details of the development and application of adiabatic molecular dynamics simulations with time-dependent density functional theory for the study of quantum dots.
