The Center for Integrated Research Computing (CIRC) will host its next symposium on Friday, April 18th in the Adolph Lower Auditorium (URMC 1-7619) in the Medical Center from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. This month’s featured speaker is Juilee Thakar from the Department of Microbiology and Immunology. This month’s featured speaker is Paul Slattery from the Department of Physics and Astronomy. He will describe how computation is involved in the measurement of the mass of the top quark. The ongoing research talk will feature results from coarse-grained molecular dynamics simulations as presented by Dejun Lin from the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics. As always, pizza and soda will be served during the event.
