MATHEMATICA

Mathematica seamlessly integrates a numeric and symbolic computational engine, graphics system, programming language, documentation system, and advanced connectivity to other applications. Mathematica is used for handling complex symbolic calculations; loading, analyzing, and visualizing data; solving equations, differential equations, and minimization problems; numerical modeling and simulations; reporting, illustrating, and presenting; and much more.

Fees for 2007-08

• Annual fee for Mac, Windows, stand-alone Linux: $155 per machine.
• Annual fee for Unix: $310 per machine (two processes), plus $155 per year for each additional simultaneous process.

• The site license does not cover student-owned machines. For Student versions, visit Wolfram's Mathematica for Students site.
