How do I see quarantined spam for a majordomo list or exchange distribution list?

Login to the spam management user interface
Select I want spam to be managed for a new email address
Under Add An Email Address, enter the email address of the list (the list name is not sufficient)

How do I remove an email address associated to my quarantine?

Login to the spam management user interface
Select I no longer want to be notified of spam quarantined for an email address
Check the box for each of the addresses you want to remove
Click Remove

How do I opt-out of the spam management service?

Login to the spam management user interface
Select I want to change my spam filtering level
Select Opt-out

How do I get help on my spam problem?

Login to the spam management user interface
Select I have a spam related question
Under Other Requests, enter your question.
A service request ticket will automatically be generated. You will get a response within 1-2 days.

OR

Call the IT Center at 5-2000.

I can't find an email sent to me in my inbox or my quarantine. What do I do?

Login to the spam management user interface
Select I want to report a missing email
Enter the information on the form under Did Not Receive An Expected Email Message
Click Create Service Request

How do I receive quarantine digests?

A quarantine digest is an email report of the spam that was added to your quarantine for that day. This feature is turned off by default.

To receive quarantine digests, log into the quarantine interface.
Click on the "OPTIONS" link in the left side menu bar.
Check ÒNotify me periodically of messages that have been blockedÓ.

How do I prevent a specific sender address from send spam to me?

Log into the quarantine interface. To prevent a sender from sending spam to you, copy the addresss of the sender and add it to the Blocked Senders dialogue box. Click on the "Blocked Senders" link in the left side menu bar.

Enter the address of the sender you wish to block messages from and then click the "Add Sender" button.

How do I release an email that is not spam?

Select the message by checking the box to the left of the message listing.

Click on the "Deliver Message" button or if you wish to receive all email from that sender, click "Deliver & Approve Sender." Delivery is not immediate and may take 1 hour.
