These services aid in supporting more than 16,000
employees and their employment at the University. This includes
online posting of positions, managing employee benefits, supporting
payroll, managing deductions, and linking to retirement planning
tools. Assistance is also provided for supporting state and
federal reporting requirements and several of the ongoing needs of our
retirees.
The University of Rochester is currently using Peoplesoft’s HRMS 8.8
SP1 product with Oracle’s database management. We are also
running the Benefits, Benefits Administration, eBenefits, Commitment
Accounting, Payroll, Time & Labor and Staffing Front Office modules.
Day-to-day
user support (including Kronos clocks) is provided by the University’s HRMS Team.
The
system
is interfaced with the University’s Time Capture, Finance, Student, Advancement and
Data Warehouse Systems, along with various external vendors including
Excellus, Aetna and others.
