Litigation Against RIM (makers of BlackBerry) Has Been Dismissed By a Court Order
3/06/06 - Research In Motion Limited (RIM) and NTP, Inc. (NTP) have announced that they have signed a definitive licensing and settlement agreement and all terms of the agreement have been finalized. This means that University BlackBerry services will continue without disruptions.
The new agreement between RIM and NTP eliminates the need for any further court proceedings or decisions relating to damages or injunctive relief. NTP has given RIM an unrestricted right to continue its BlackBerry related business free of any claim by NTP.
