College Department Web Sites

Faculty or Staff members in The College of Arts, Sciences and Engineering can now contact the Ed Tech Center for assistance with their departmental web sites.

To get an account on the University web server, fill out the online Information Provider Account Form.

When your account is ready, you will be contacted via email and an appointment will be setup to show you how to get started.

Additional Information that you may need
Accessing your account through FTP	Secure FTP client required
	Windows	Download SSH Secure File Transfer Client (with Secure Shell Client)
	Macintosh	Cyberduck

Shell Access to your account	SSH required
	Windows	Download Putty SSH Download SSH Secure Shell Client (with File Transfer Client)
	Macintosh	Download Nifty Telnet

The Ed Tech Center can also assist by designing a new web site for you. Or by maintaining your page content for you. This is done at a nominal hourly rate. Please contact Lisa Brown (lisa.brown@rochester.edu, x59162) to discuss your needs.
