Launch Spybot Search & Destroy

Check Don’t show this message again. Then click OK.

If you have other spyware detection software installed, you may see a warning as shown here. Click OK
|
This is the main Spybot screen. Select Search for updates.
|

Select all updates by right-clicking on an item and choosing Select All. Click on Download Updates.

The selected updates will be downloaded and installed.
|

On the Spybot main page, select Check for problems. You will see a screen similiar to this while Spybot scans your system.

If problems are found, you will see a list similiar to this:

All of the items will be selected for removal by default. If you do not want to remove a specific item on the list, clear the check box. |
Click on Fix selected problems to remove the spyware from your machine. A system restore point will be created if you selected this option. |
Click Yes to confirm that you want to remove the spyware, then OK on the confirmation that the problems have been fixed.

Restart your machine. If spyware programs are currently running, you may not be able to remove them at this time. If you are prompted to have spybot run at startup, answer yes. |
