Resetting your Outlook Address book for Outlook 2002 (XP) & Outlook 2003

Make sure Outlook is not running.

Click the Windows Start button, go to Settings, Control Panel and double-click Mail.

Click on E-mail Accounts.

Select the option to View or change existing directories or address books

Click Next

Select Outlook Address Book, then click on Remove

Click Yes

Click Add

Choose the Additional Address Books option

Click Next

Choose Outlook Address book

Click Next

If you see this screen (you may not) click OK

Click Finish

Close all boxes and launch Outlook

In Outlook, check the properties of each Contact folder to be used as an e-mail address list. Right-click on the Contacts folder, left-click on Properties. On the Outlook Address Book tab, make sure Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book is checked.
