Consultant Level 1Provide entry level support within the ITS Center. Job tasks include answering patron questions by phone and in person, basic maintenance of the lab machines and printers, directing patron questions to the correct resources, maintaining the appearance of the lab and desk, and other tasks assigned by the Manager and Student Training Coordinators. All new employees start out at this level for at least one semester. Apply Online Consultant Level 2Provide intermediate to advanced support within the iTS Center. Job tasks include all the responsibilities of a Consultant Level 1 as well as working more closely with the Manager and Training Coordinators on ITS related activities. Level 2 Consultants should be role models, lead by example, and be able to show Level 1 Consultants tasks not yet mastered. Consultant Level 3Provide leadership and training for Level 1 and Level 2 Consultants at the ITS Center. This position requires advanced knowledge of all technical areas listed above and will be hired through an application/review process. The ITS Center Student Leadership Handbook explains the details regarding the job description and responsibilities. The Leadership handbook also outlines a complete list of requirements in order to qualify for a leadership position. Technical AssistantProvide assistance to the Desktop Systems Group in the repair and maintenance of department, faculty, staff, and student computers. Technical Assistants must be able to work independently and are given a high level of responsibility. Promotion to this position is on a case-by-case basis.
