Step 1: Launch your Outlook application and then
click Tools and select E-mail
Accounts as seen below:

Step 2: At E-mail Accounts
screen just click the Next button.

Step 3: Highlight your POP
e-mail account by clicking on it and click on the
Change button on the right hand side.

Step 4: You will then see the following screen;
Click the More Settings button in the lower right
hand corner.

Step 5: In the Internet E-mail Settings
window click on the Advanced tab.

Step 6: Under the Server Port
Numbers area check the box This server requires an
encrypted connection (SSL). When that box is checked the
box next to Incoming server (POP3): should change
to 995. When done click the OK
button.

| Step 7: This will bring you back to the
E-mail Accounts screen as seen in Step
4. You can now click the Next button. And
on the next window you can click Finish. This will
save your settings and you will now be POPing your e-mail over SSL.
