VPN - Changing M.T.U. Setting

Instructions for Windows Users:

This program will work on following Windows Operating Systems:
• Windows 2000
• Windows XP Professional

Step 1: Launch the MTU application by going to Start --> Programs --> Cisco Systems VPN Client --> Set MTU.

Step 2: You will get this screen: Select the appropriate adapter. This will most likely be "Local Area Connection (number)". This will be your Cisco VPN adapter connection. Highlight the connection and then click the 1300 option.

Step 3: Your screen should look like this: Click OK and it will prompt you to reboot your computer. Your VPN connection should now stay active. You may need to play around with this setting depending on the type of ISP you have.
