Web Technical Assistants
Periodically we need to replace a current Technical Assistant such as
when they graduate. If you are interested in such positions you need
to contact us well ahead of the opening as these jobs are high demand
and we are selective.
All jobs with us are considered long term. We carry some
of these positions over the summer. Selection for these positions is
based on technical skills as well as interpersonal skills. Please read
the position description. Pay ranges
from $8.00 to $12.00 depending on experience and specific needs of Web
Services.
Web Assistants
These jobs are direct hires with various departments around the university.
We screen applicants and provide training as needed. Sometimes the department
provides the project management and sometime Web Services does. These
positions vary from very short term simple Web update jobs to long term
maintenance of significant sites. Usually these positions are less demanding
in that programming is seldom required. However, they can
be as demanding as a Web Technical Assistant position. The can range
from a few hours total to regular 10-15 hours per week on an ongoing
basis. The availability of these positions changes constantly. If you

not available immediately you will be placed on an on-call list. Some
students have a regular job and add spot Web assistant work to supplement
their regular job. Pay can range from $6.50 - $9.00 per hour.
