Configuring a Wireless Card for Mac OS X.2

Follow these steps to configure UR Wireless:

1. Open System Preferences and click on the Network Icon. You should this window:
   

2. In the box labelled Location, choose New Location and call it URWireless.

3. In the box labelled Show, be sure Network Port Configurations is displayed as shown in the picture above.

4. Make sure that Airport is checked and move it up to the first position.

5. In the box labelled Show, choose Airport.

6. On the TCP/IP tab, make sure DHCP is on.

7. On the Airport tab, select Join a Specific Network and type in URNET (all caps). Leave the password field blank. Click Apply Now.
   

8. Close System Preferences, and UR Wireless should be set up!
